about

Sophomor(on)ic, immature, politically incorrect, unrehearsed, and lo-fi... these are just a few descriptors that can be used to describe The Reversatiles' one and only "album," Our Mothers Named Us.

Recorded in a basement using practice amps and a broken, severely out-of-tune partial drum kit, all live and in one take, this piece of history can now be enjoyed by anyone with a twisted sense of humor and extremely low standards.

Featuring future members of now defuct streetpunk/Oi! band Dead City Dealers, including Lo-Phile Recordings' own Sam Sinister (Shart 69, Snare-Master).

Take it as satire, take it as contrarian, juvenile antagonism, but either way—don't expect anything polished or technically impressive.

This is probably as "punk rock" as it gets, folks.
